Welcome to THE WAX FOUNDRY. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this website.

1. About Us

THE WAX FOUNDRY is a Canadian candle laboratory developing editioned scent studies released seasonally in limited quantities.

Hand-blended on the West Coast of Canada.

2. Products

All products are subject to availability.

Because each scent study is produced in limited editions, quantities are restricted and may sell out without notice. Once a study is archived, it may not be reproduced or made available again.

We make every effort to accurately display product descriptions, artwork, packaging, and colours; however, variations may occur depending on screen settings and the handmade nature of our products.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products at any time without notice.

3. Limited Editions & Availability

THE WAX FOUNDRY releases products seasonally in limited quantities.

Availability is not guaranteed. Certain scent studies, accompanying artwork, packaging elements, or promotional materials may be retired permanently once inventory has been exhausted.

We reserve the right to limit quantities purchased per customer during launches, seasonal releases, or special events.

4. Natural Variations

Each candle is hand-poured in small batches.

Minor variations in wax appearance, fragrance intensity, colour, label placement, artwork, packaging, vessel finish, and other handcrafted characteristics may occur and are considered part of the nature of the product.

Such variations do not constitute defects and are not grounds for refund or replacement.

5. Pricing

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

Prices, product offerings, and availability may change without notice.

Applicable taxes and shipping charges are calculated at checkout.

6. Orders

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our sole discretion.

If an order is cancelled after payment has been processed, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Order confirmation does not guarantee product availability.

7. Shipping

Orders are processed within the timeframes stated on the website.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

THE WAX FOUNDRY is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, customs processing, labour disruptions, or circumstances beyond our control.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery of the order to the shipping carrier.

8. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final.

As each scent study is produced in limited quantities and may include accompanying artwork or editioned materials, exchanges for scent preference, change of mind, or personal taste are not available.

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within seven (7) days of delivery at:

Photographs of the damage may be required before a replacement or refund is issued.

Refunds or replacements are granted at our sole discretion.

9. Fragrance Expectations

Fragrance performance is influenced by room size, airflow, environmental conditions, candle care practices, and individual scent perception.

Because scent is subjective, THE WAX FOUNDRY cannot guarantee a specific fragrance experience or level of scent throw in every environment.

10. Candle Safety

Candles must be used responsibly and according to the care instructions provided.

By purchasing our products, you acknowledge that:

  • Candles should never be left unattended while burning.
  • Candles should be kept away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials.
  • Wicks should be trimmed before each burn.
  • Burn instructions included with the product should be followed at all times.

THE WAX FOUNDRY is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss resulting from improper use, misuse, or failure to follow safety instructions.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to:

  • Artwork
  • Reference prints
  • Photography
  • Product names
  • Scent study names
  • Logos
  • Branding
  • Packaging designs
  • Written content
  • Graphics
  • Website design elements

are the exclusive property of THE WAX FOUNDRY and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, published, or used without prior written permission.

12. Wholesale & Resale

Products purchased from THE WAX FOUNDRY are intended for personal use.

Unauthorized resale, redistribution, or commercial use of our products is prohibited without prior written approval.

  • Attempt to interfere with website security or functionality.
